Downey Real Estate Report for August 2011:  Homes Sold, In Escrow and More

The latest Downey Real Estate numbers for sold homes are in for the month of August 2011.  This doesn't include Downey condo-townhouses, income properties or lots .  43 single family homes closed escrow and had the joy of changing their listing status from "Active" to "Sold".  The three bedroom homes led the closing totals with 22 homes. Home sellers of 5+ bedroom homes had a tough month.  Although there are currently 12 of them pending or in backup offer status, none closed in that month.  26 currently remain in "Active" status.  

DOWNEY REAL ESTATE SALES BREAKDOWN: 

Downey Real Estate Sold by Price:

9    homes sold priced $200,000 - $300,000

22  homes sold priced $300,000 - $400,000

10  homes sold priced $400,000 - $500,000

1    homes sold priced $600,000 - $1 mil (it was a $900K home)
