Belmont Heights is no exception! Even the palm trees are waving hello to you as you enter the area! When driving down the streets you are sure to see smiling families bike riding, hear chimes in the background and feel an overall sense of tranquility. Here in Belmont Heights, the hustle and bustle of everyday life is exchanged for a deep sigh of contentment and laid-back friendly.
The small town touches come in when you unexpectedly stumble across a cute diner or ma and pa grocery store in the middle of a residential street.
No seriously, the name of the small town store smack dab in the heart of Belmont Heights is named "Ma n' Pa Grocery."
The Belmont Heights residents are fiercely protective of this endangered species and rightly so! Charming neighborhood general stores where you can buy fresh produce are hard to come by. If you are ever in the area, be sure to treat yourself to a delicious freshly made sandwich or homemade dinner.
I could go on and on when it comes to the charm that is Belmont Heights in Long Beach, CA. I have quite a few favorite neighborhoods in Long Beach and this ranks right at the top. But I'll let you judge for yourself.

I have spent many an evening in Belmont Heights. It is a lovely area area with some great restaurants and lovely homes. Those were the days.
