Long Beach First-Time Homebuyer Program - Buyers Wanted!

Long Beach First-Time Homebuyer Program - Buyers Wanted!

As of 7/7/2010, the City of Long Beach is offering up to $200K in a new First-Time Homebuyer Program as part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program also known as the NSP2. This is to help promote neighborhood stabilization, create homeownership opportunities to persons and households with low, middle to moderate income.  This isn't your average first-time home buyer program! It's better!  There are also rehabilitation and closing grants available as well.

WHO QUALIFIES:

The income guidelines are very reasonable, thus giving some who may have been once considered to make too much or too little a chance to qualify!  There are requirements that do apply when offering this type of monetary assistance, but it is my opinion you will find them fair and reasonbale and well worth it!  Here are just a few of the Long Beach First-Time Homebuyer NSP2 Program requirements:

  • Persons who have not owned a home or been on title in the last three years (3 full years)
  • Persons who previously owned a home with his or her spouse but no longer hold title due to divorce
  • Income Limits per household size do apply

LONG BEACH AREAS COVERED IN PROGRAM:Belmont Heights street

The first thing you automatically assume when you hear Long Beach First-Time Home Buyer Program or any First-Time Homebuyer Program for that matter, is that it's going to be in areas you wouldn't put your enemy or mother-in-law in right? Really? I would WANT to be your enemy or mother-in-law if you'd place me in some of the areas that are currently included in the program!  These areas include street names like Ocean Blvd, Appian Way, Boathouse Ln. and Marina Dr., Park Avenue, Country Club Dr. and all of the other names you've always wanted to see below your name on incoming mail!  There are also in areas near great schools, on tree-lined streets, near golf courses or within walking distances to the beach, marinas, bays, restaurants and shopping!  I'm so excited for you!  It's a great opporutunity for any First-Time Homebuyer looking to buy in the great city of Long Beach!

WHAT DO I DO NOW TO QUALIFY?:

In order for you to be considered for the Long Beach First-Time Homebuyer NSP2 Program you will have needed to or will need to schedule your attendance to one of the required 2 hr intro presentations for the Long Beach First-Time Homebuyer NSP2 Program.  There were over 300 people in attendance at the last meeting! Due to a huge outcry a 2nd introductory class has now been scheduled for next week!  RSVP required!  Please call me for further details at 310-508-4354!

If you have already attended the Long Beach First-Time Homebuyers NSP2 Program introductory class or have the certificate of completion from HUD and need a Realtor® to help you through the process, please feel free to call me at 310-508-4354.
